We just got two new products from Rooware for my daughter – the Rooplate and Rootensils. Upon reading the description on the packaging I was impressed immediately. It reads “fun tableware made from plants”. That means There are no petroleum or toxic chemicals made to produce their plastic. Plus, it’s different and excellent for your child and the environment. Oh and I have to add they are made in the USA.

There are four characters in the designs: Lexi, Kai, Jazi, and Zach. I like their looks…not too cutesy and appealing for the older kids too.

The Rooplate is awesome. It features a removable divider bowl which is great for separating foods. My daughter wanted to use it right away. Since she’s such a snacker, I let her use it to hold her fruits and crackers.

I really like the colors and the characters and feel that they are inviting to use. The Rootensils comes with a spoon and fork and are perfect for little ones as they are normal sized but usable. No worries on poking eyes with these.

Now here’s a cute online shop that sells colorful and useful baby things. It’s Petites Frites, a California-based company that makes their products in the USA. The founders are a couple that left London to work on their business in the States. A pretty brave move but I think looking at their site, a good move.

Petites Frites is described as selling “classic baby accessories with a bohemian twist, locally produced with love right here in the USA.”

I particular like The Teether Blankie ($38)

It’s 12″ x 12″ and made of two layers of their signature fabric. At each corner is a removable teether. I never had something like this and would have used it all the time.

I’m always pleased when a baby company comes out with selling unique designs on clothes that are eco-friendly. Dana Guglielmo is the founder of Pieface Studio and is the artist/designer of the creative onesies for sale on the site.

You’ll find mixed media designs of elephants, pigs and cupcakes (the cannoli one is my fave) on onesies up to size 18 months. The apparel is made in the USA and some are 100% organic. Eco-friendly water based inks are also used.

They retail for $16. I think one would make a nice baby shower gift!

First of all, the company gets a thumbs up immediately because the family-owned company operates in the USA. They also are committed to donating a portion of your purchase to not-for-profit organizations such as Friends of Karen, a local charity dedicated to supporting the families of critically-ill children.

On the Dolphin Organics site, you’ll see that the label has no artificial ingredients. It’s all pure and simple. That means it’s Vegan and contains no harsh ingredients.

I’ve used it a few times this month and added it to the bath water and no one complains. No tears erupt when the soap gets in their little eyes.

The fact that it’s made in the USA is just as important as the functionality of this playhouse. Wondering how long this can stay crayon and marker free?

We have this. The letters are very easy to pick off, and I think the price is great for those who want to try out what wall decals are about.

Company Kids also sells the interactive Wall Play – Kids US State Map ($22). They are easy to remove and are repositionable, are 100% Vinyl, and made in the USA.

These cute looking bottles are filled with purified spring water. One has a nipple for baby and the other, a sippy top for toddler. Both are 8 oz., are made in the USA and are BPA free. These are great to put in your diaper bag and use for on the go.

I gave each to my children to try. The only thing that is a little hit and miss with the sippy top bottle is that the water couldn’t get out when both of them put it in their mouths. I had to use scissors eventually so that the hole would get bigger. That said, I do like the look…but not the prices.

A case of 12 is $40 and a case for 24 is $80! If money is not an issue, you can buy Nourish at online sites CSN stores and Amazon.com.

Having disposable bottles will have new moms on the go experience an easier trip. Steri-bottles require no washing or sterilizing. Just open the box, fill, feed, and throw away. Steri-bottle is a top selling bottle in the UK, and now that it’s brought here, I could see it getting popular.

These bottles are BPA-free, phthalate free, and made in the USA!

Overall: Great idea and handy! I know that when I took the baby on a long car trip or a plane ride, I didn’t want to hold on to a dirty bottle after feeding. It does save time and with these, you just toss after use. A 5-pack os $5.49 and a 10-pack is $9.99.
