According to Names.org, Star Wars has been a big influence in baby names this year.

On their interactive graphic Baby Names Inspired by Star Wars Characters, baby names spiked in correlation with film release dates.

Names.org says, “Few movie franchises have impacted pop culture as much as Star Wars. From the late 1970’s to today, Star Wars has touched multiple generations and we thought it would be fun to find out which iconic Star Wars characters had the most pervasive impact on our society. The interactive graphic shows how characters over the course of five decades led to an increase in babies named after them.”

Here are a few examples:

Luke (Skywalker):

  • In 1977, the year of the first Star Wars, 1,243 babies were named Luke.
