Mission’s Enduracool Products – Don’t Sweat It

We’re still having a heatwave on the east coast so what perfect timing then to open up a box of  Mission athlete cooling products.

First of all, I have never heard of this brand so it’s interesting to find out what they’re about.

Their products are designed with Mission’s Enduracool instant cooling technology which chills fabric surface temperature by up to 30° and controls temperature on demand.

I decided to put it to the test and try on the hat and see how it will cool my head.

  1. I rinsed in cold water and stretched the fabric.
  2.  A few minutes later I noticed hat stays cold.
  3. Half hour later fabric is still cold (Note: this is when hat is not worn). This is what I needed when I was walking around a county fair in 90 degree heat this summer!

Also available are the MISSION Athletecare’s EnduraCool towels

There are two kinds:

Enduracool Microfiber Cooling Towel ($7.49)
Enduracool Techknit Cooling Towel ($8.99)

HOW IT WORKS:

When the towel is soaked in water, wrung out and snapped, the instant cooling technology is activated to chill the fabric’s surface temperature by up to 30 degrees. The user can then place the towel around their neck and the fabric will keep them cool, comfortable and dry. The towel comes in a variety of colors and patterns to suit everyone’s taste.

Before using any of their products (including Skull Caps, Headbands, and Sleeves), it’s suggested you machine wash in cold water first.

I can see this being popular with athletes. For instance Serena Williams is a brand ambassador.

The products are functional and are useful for the whole family. Use for running, other sports activities, or just even sitting out in the sun, they will definitely keep you cool.
