App: The Great Sasquatch

Sometimes it’s nice to read a story on iPad at bedtime.  Here’s one that will delight boys and girls. Bramble Berry Tales has launched their newest app – The Great Sasquatch. It’s book two from a series of three tales created by Loud Crow Interactive Inc.

After a day exploring the wonderful west coast Thomas learns that sometimes little sisters can teach the most valuable lessons of all. Follow Lily and Thomas in an adventure sure to capture any child’s imagination as they encounter one of the most reclusive and mysterious creature of all, the Sasquatch. Learn the history and origin of the sásq’et (sasquatch) as their mooshum (grandfather) relates the oral history of this giant creature and teaches them the valuable lesson of not judging a book by its cover.

I really like the “dictionary” part of the app. It’s educational and I give the illustrations an A+. It is a long story but entertaining if your child is patient. Good for a relaxing read. App is $2.99. Download at iTunes.
