Made In The USA: Little Play Spaces Beauty Parlor
I like cardboard toys. We had one once of table and four chairs. You had to color them in. What I love about Little Play Spaces? They’re already illustrated. Made in the USA and from recycled materials this Beauty Parlor would be fun for the whole family. I know I would love to play in it. It is designed for ages 2-8.
Excerpt from press release:
Little Play Spaces, creators of the French Café playhouse, have designed the oh-so-cute, retro Beauty Parlor especially for your budding beauticians and it will be available the beginning of November at www.littleplayspaces.com.
Made entirely from cardboard, this 3-sided collapsible playhouse with flip-up Velcro roof has, first and foremost, an adorable mint green exterior with vintage-look stickers that harken back to the kind of salon our mothers would have frequented, and we wish were still in existence. One side depicts a window view with stand-up hair dryer and the other side a glamorous ‘Take Time Out for Beauty’ poster pasted under the striped awning that shades the window.
Inside there is an illustrated shelf with more perfumes and shampoos and pop-up shelves and cubbies for storing (hiding!) all the nail polishes, hair rollers, lip glosses, bows, and ribbons.
Little Play Spaces have added a ‘Styled By’ plaque for whomever that day’s stylist is AND a scalloped mirror AND a 3-fold ‘spa menu’ with such treatments as Foot Massage and Princess Curls (love some) and spaces for kids to dream up their own treatments and pricing.
Also included are easy face mask and fragrance recipes.
Price is $89 through www.littleplayspaces.com
