Once Upon A Treehouse: Eco-friendly Dollhouses & More
Once Upon A Treehouse is a new company that sells high-quality wooden dollhouses, furniture and dolls. The products are handcrafted using sustainable materials such as real wood, cotton and wool. Here is the story:
Founders Lori & Tara Shoeneman noticed a lack of high-quality and wholesome children’s toys on the market. They teamed up to create Once Upon a TreeHouse, a line of handmade, wholesome toys perfect in promoting quality playtime, complimented with a reliable website filled with fun, interactive ideas for children, parents and grandparents. Once Upon a TreeHouse offers a robust product line of dolls, dollhouses, pets clothing and accessories. There are currently two different floors plans and a signature line of dolls, including Buttercup the Ballerina who comes with her very own ballerina bar. And for every doll purchased, the sisters will donate a soft baby doll to a girl in need.
I received the ballerina doll and a ballet barre (Buttercup) – plus a usable pink Once Upon A Treehouse bag. The doll’s limbs are flexible and you can undress it – as my daughter soon discovered! Prices vary. For example the Buttercup doll is $22 whereas the Eden doll is $40. The dollhouses range from $325 (to customize one) to $120. If you look on the site – there are also recipes and craft ideas.
Overall – I think these are toys you will want to keep for years to come. I love that they’re eco-friendly too.
