NYC Theater: The Amazing Max And The Box Of Interesting Things

Are you in the New York area or coming to visit soon?

Last Saturday I took the kids to see The Amazing Max and The Box of Interesting Things at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center in NYC.

The magician is Max Darwin and I can tell you this – he’s definitely entertaining. The show is for families and the kids (especially the little ones) found him pretty funny. My 3-year-old daughter – who has never been to a movie theater – sat still through the whole hour performance! She was glued to the stage and laughed and clapped most of the time.

The magic consists of card tricks, juggling, and cool things with objects. I do have a favorite trick (but I won’t tell you since I suggest you go see the show yourself) and have no idea how he did it.

Be ready to have your kids participate in the magic tricks. He does call on them to join him on stage.

OVERALL: An affordable and fun show for the family. A plus is that they also accommodate birthday party groups.

The Amazing Max and The Box of Interesting Things, is extended by popular demand through June 30, 2012.
