Appaman – Kidswear With A Scandanavian Perspective
I’ve heard of Appaman – seen the name around but have never seen the clothes up close. That is…until the people behind the brand sent a few things from their Spring 2012 collection.
Can I say cute? Funky? Street chic?
Swimwear, flutter dresses, seersucker shorts, sweatshirt bucket hats and patch skirts are available in bold, fun colors and cool looking graphics.
For Appaman ACC – streetwear artist Ron Johnson brings his 1920’s Metropolis-inspired designs.
The prices are reasonable and the material is high quality. Even the bucket hats are made of comfy heavy material and you know this item will last for years. Awesome brand. I plan to buy more clothes by them in the future!

Appaman is inspired by, and named after, the childhood companion of founder and designer Harald Husum. While growing up in Norway, Husum befriended a corduroy ape named Appaman. Together they traveled the fields and fjords of their native land, sharing many fantastic adventures. Appaman reflects the whimsical spirit of those youthful times and celebrates the unbreakable bond between a boy and his ape.
