iPad App: Get Interactive With Astrojammies

1

If you’re collecting storybooks for your iPad, you might want to consider Astrojammies, a children’s space adventure story about a magical pair of pajamas.

Suited for children ages 3-8, this app is unique because it was developed using new interactive technologies allowing kids to deeply interact with the story using sight, hearing and touch.

Written and illustrated by author Stacey Williams-Ng, Astrojammies is a fantastic tale, written in rhyming verse, about an ordinary boy named Jimmy whose hooded pajamas suddenly transport him to the far reaches of space.  Readers interact and guide Jimmy along the way, helping as he encounters characters, explores strange new worlds and dodges the many dangers of cosmic travel including speeding comets and a wily space baboon!

Readers can use their fingers to move and spin characters, launch a rocket, and squish into a planet made entirely of goo among many other fun interactive features. There is also sounds of a dreamlike original music score along with professional narration.

Astrojammies is available now at $1.99 until December 31. From then it will cost $4.99 to download.
