There are learning toys, and then there are unique ones that teach emotions. Introducing Cloud, Bug, and Huggtopus, three Kimochis plush characters that come with a set of three feelings and a How-To Kimochis Feel Guide.

Little pillows read emotions such as sad, scared, happy, and jealous. You can put one of the pillows in one of the main character’s pocket while explaining to your child what the feeling means. The Feel Guide tells who each Kimochis character is and explains the meaning of each emotion. That part helped me since I couldn’t describe in my own words what “sad” really means.

I think it’s a really good communication tool for teaching children about feelings and that it’s okay to express them. A Kimochi character is $25 and the feeling packs are $12. Visit the Kimochis web site.

You can win your favorite Kimochi character and a pack of mixed feelings!

TO ENTER:

1. Visit Kimochis.com and tell us which plush character you want to win.

2. You can enter more than once! For extra entries: Twitter the contest, mention it on your blog, subscribe to our feed, and place the Mogul Baby badge on your blog with additional comments.

Winner will be picked by random. Deadline: June 28, 2009 at midnight EST. US residents only. Good luck!
