Skin healing Triderma Baby

Does your child have Eczema or a nasty diaper rash? Since my son has Eczema I was willing to try something new that didn’t have cortisone or steroids. So I tested out TriDerma MD Baby’s new skincare line on my 2-year-old son and my baby daughter. Here are the results I found with the three following gels and creams.

The Extreme Itch & Dryness Fast Healing Cream: I tried this product out on my son when he had an Eczema blow-out on his cheeks last week. The cream felt smooth and not greasy. He didn’t budge when I smeared it on so it must have helped the itchiness somewhat. However, it didn’t clear up his Eczema and I ended up putting on his prescription cream.

The Severe Diaper Rash Fast Healing Cream: I tried this on the baby even though she doesn’t have a diaper rash. When I place some on her bum, I was surprised that a clear gel came out of the tube. When I checked her diaper a couple of hours later, no redness occurred so I knew it didn’t irritate her skin.

The All-Purpose Aloe Healing & Cleansing Gel: This is a waterless gel that cleans without drying or irritating skin. I tried this also on my baby’s bum and again, when I checked two hours later there was no redness. However, the glob of gel didn’t disappear and was still there. Perhaps I put too much on?

These products cost around $15 but I am willing to suggest that you try them out for yourselves. They’re sold at Babies R Us.
