When I plugged the CD into the car, I did feel instant calmness. It also quieted the kids in the backseat so that was a plus. All the songs are recognizable and had pleasant melodies. However, it did remind me of the music you hear in department stores. That said, I think babies will enjoy listening to Babies Go CDs because the music is very soothing. A CD costs $17 and if you buy four or more online it's $15 each. I recommend it as a stocking stuffer! It's also a Mogul Baby's Holiday Gift Guide 2008 pick.
