Karito Kids introduces Aussie Piper doll
Have any of you heard of Karito Kids? They’re a company that sells six different dolls representing different countries Meet Piper pictured here. The others are Ling, Pita, Lulu, Zoe, and Gia (sounds like the cast of America’s Next Top Model).
Piper is the newest doll and she’s an 11-year-old from Sydney, Australia. According to the box, she enjoys surfing, volunteers as a junior lifeguard, and is an emerging activist.
Basically, she makes me feel like a wimp!
The doll is really big, not like an actual 11-year-old, but the biggest doll I’ve ever been sent. At 21” she can pose (but not like the model poses in the post below). Inside the box is her passport and a 136-page, hardbound fiction book that includes pages from her journal all about Australia!
I went to Australia in 2001. I ate a lot of pasties. I wondered if Piper has THAT in her diary!
The good part about this doll? Every Purchase Helps Another Child. Three percent of the retail price goes to a charity of your choice! Every item comes with a special code allowing them to log on to karitokids.com, play great games, earn extra World Change and direct their gift to one of four causes: school, home, health or food.
Piper costs $99.99. Is she worth it? Well, if you have the money to spend and want to give, it could be worth it for you.
